Mahoumon, The Mighty!
HELLO, WORLD! Welcome to the world of Digimon Fan Fiction! Why settle for those bland, boring episodes on TV when you (and others like you) can write your own? I don't actually go out and find the stuff, Blitz does, but I AM putting my personal spin on everything here. If you want your stuff up here, or if you know about somebody else's story that would be good on here, give it here! Blitz, of course has some rules about what goes and what dosen't, so here they are:


BLITZ'S RULES:

Rule one: No overtly offensive material. I draw roughly the same line that network TV does (or used to, anyway): Watch the language, no sex, yadda yadda (violence is fine, however. It's not like you can actually see anything in writting) I reserve the right to censor any fan-fic I run, so consider yourself warned.

Rule two: It has to be at least some what Digimon related. You don't need to draw directly from the show, I like imagination, just make sure that it really does have something to with it. (You don't need to use any specific characters of story elements)

Rule three: It has to be good. Hey, I put enough dumb stuff on this site as it is. I don't need any help.

Rule four: I need some stuff with it. With any story, I need the following things sent: the name (duh), a short description to post with it, and a rating: G, PG, PG-13, or R. By the way, don't get discouraged if your story looks like an R and think I'll just toss it. Just go through and soften up the language, that usually helps a lot (A lot or R rated movies could have made PG without all the swearing).

Rule five: Credit where credit is due. If you want to run anything you see here on a site of your own, that's fine with me. However, you ought to get permission from the author anyway, and of course say who it's by (especially if it's one of mine) 'Kay? Good.


OK, that's all the rules for the moment, but I've got some non-official challenges for you aspiering writers. If you meet any of these challenges, you'll be awarded!
MAHOUMON's CHALLENGES:

1. If you've ever taken a serious look at Digimon fan fiction as a whole, you may have noticed that there is a LOT of angsty stuff floating around. In fact, in this very Library, the majority of the works are dripping with one form of angst or another. Now, I'm sorry, but I'm just getting tired of it. There's nothing wrong with being serious or dramatic, but WAY too many fics out there are just whinny and depressing. So here's my first challenge: I wanna see you guys sending me some lighter stuff. As I said before, don't stop being serious and dramatic - I won't throw out a fic if it is - but you guys REALY should try evening it out with more action and humor. Things are gonna get monotonous around here otherwise.

2. It's taken a year, but I finally got a responce to this one, so I'll say it again: just about all of these fics here so far are about 01/02. There ARE two other seasons of Digimon out there, guys, and they're arguably better than the first two. So here's challenge number two: I want some Tamers and Frontier fanfics. I don't care what kind of fics they are (as long as they aren't angsty :P), just as long as they've got characters or story elements from either Tamers or Frontier.
